About Bond Battery
Who We Are
Bond Battery is an independent reference for understanding how batteries work, how they age, and how they behave in real systems.
We publish practical explanations of battery chemistry, charging, performance, lifespan, safety, testing and energy storage. The goal is not to sell batteries, but to make the technical relationships behind them easier to understand.
Why Bond Battery Exists
Battery information is scattered across datasheets, research papers, manufacturer literature, standards and forum discussions. Each source can answer part of a question, but the relationships among those fragments are often left for the reader to reconstruct.
An individual specification can be misleading without its conditions. Capacity depends on load and cutoff voltage; voltage changes with chemistry and state of charge; temperature affects available power, charging behavior and aging. Useful interpretation begins by keeping those conditions attached to the number.
Bond Battery tries to connect these fragments into explanations that can be followed from first principles to practical use. That means describing not only what a measurement says, but also what was measured, under which conditions, and what the result can and cannot establish.
General reference material still has limits. For a specific cell, pack, charger or installation, product documentation, applicable standards and qualified engineering requirements take priority over a broad educational explanation.

How We Work
Bond Battery aims to preserve technical context rather than flattening battery behavior into universal rules. Important assumptions, operating conditions and limitations remain visible so a reader can understand where a general principle applies and where it may not.
Explanations draw, where appropriate, from established electrochemical and engineering principles, manufacturer technical documentation, institutional material, applicable standards and practical test context. Sources are interpreted conservatively, and manufacturer claims are not treated as universal facts.
We distinguish educational guidance from product-specific requirements. When safety, compatibility, warranty or system design is involved, the relevant product documentation and qualified technical review remain the controlling references.
